We all eat - and what we eat and why we eat
is intrinsically linked to our identities.
This workshop will provide some basics in Nutrition education before
moving into the bio-psycho-social aspects of our diets as well as why this is
important in our clinical practices.
Disordered Eating etiology and treatment options as well as Food
Addiction and its 12 step Fellowship will be explored. Principles of Motivational Interviewing will
be utilized throughout this workshop.
The presenter was a Nutritionist in private practice for 20 years prior
to receiving her MSW.
