Clinical supervision is considered essential
for those working in Behavioral Health, and we can all agree that good clinical
supervision can make the difference in how much a practitioner will learn, grow
and enjoy their work. This workshop will provide opportunities for
both the aspiring and the experienced supervisor to develop and strengthen
their supervisory skills. Topics covered
include legal and ethical considerations, risk management, and potential
liability as well as self-care, potential power dynamics and implicit bias
awareness. Cases will be used to
illustrate teaching points and for small group exercises. Feel free to bring one of your own!
