As the coronavirus outbreak continues, children and teens are trying to make sense of the drastic changes that have altered their home environment, family dynamics and community within a short period of time. Those struggling with anxiety disorders may feel even more worry amidst this pandemic. This workshop will focus on providing clinical support to providers during their time working with children, teens and their families. In particular, this workshop will provide tools and strategies needed to support the transition to teletherapy. Upon completion of this course, providers will feel more confident in reducing the anxiety levels of their children and teenage clients while aiding in their client’s growth, self-regulation and therapeutic progression.
