This course allows for participants to explore opportunities to assist their clients in a culturally appropriate manner while meeting their mental health needs. The facilitator will discuss and provide dialogue paths to skills, techniques and exercises that consider the needs of various backgrounds while improving overall mental health. Tara Michener is a trained and national speaker on Diversity, Equity and inclusion and a counselor who specializes in relational aggression and multicultural issues and racial trauma.
