Professional ethics provide guidelines for
safe and effective treatment delivery, yet we are often challenged in our
day-to-day delivery of services. This
workshop will provide an opportunity to explore our own personal values within
the context of the NASW Code of Ethics as well as develop deeper understanding
of the underlying ethical theories.
Real-life examples of ethical dilemmas will be utilized in learning how
to use ethical decision-making models.
Clients presenting with pain related issues are becoming increasingly
prevalent, as is their impact on all areas of social work ethics and practice.
