will address the relationship between policies and politics; how compassion,
attitudes regarding DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) and political party
impacts decision-making; dangers of restrictions on bodily autonomy,
discriminatory laws, educational contractions and issues related to climate
change; how diversity helps us in research, in the military, in governing, in
education; and how awareness of these relationships enhances clinical skills.
