Clients with
narcissistic tendencies are different than clients that are diagnosed with
narcissistic personality disorder. Narcissism includes: Rage, arrogance,
entitlement, low self-worth, grandiose, excessive interest of oneself, lack of
empathy, envy and need to control and overpower. The cause of narcissistic
personality disorder is influenced by a combination of nature and nurture. This
workshop will dive deep into narcissistic personality disorder and its impacts
on relationships and human connection. Advice on effective treatment
modalities, leading with empathy, setting boundaries, preventing
countertransference, and exploring practical case studies will also be
provided.
